CHALLENGE​

Akkim was tracking its sales teams across different platforms in a decentralized structure. The tracking of sample shipments, target actuals, and customer details was not possible.

SOLUTION

All data was carried to a single platform and the access to information became easier. Thanks to goal/reached, mobile interfaces, activity monitoring and workflows, effective process management was established

Challenge ​

  • They tried to manage the sales operations of the company with slow processes on Excel. ​
  • They weren’t able to gather competition data from the field or it was impossible to gather and report market data to develop a new chemical product.
  • No mobile transactions in the field. Field sales operations were slow and untraceable.
  • While transferring data by using Excel and other methods, errors occurred due to human factors and it could get hard to find the source.
  • The contribution of the samples given to the sales was untraceable. ​

Solution ​

  • By positioning the Sales Cloud product, sales operations integrated with ERP have been deployed. Instantaneous measurable data entry and reporting were achieved.
  • We started to analyze the competition data gathered from the field and gather information regarding the equivalents of the products planned to be manufactured.
  • Field teams transferred all sales processes to the mobile platform that is fast and easily accessible; tracking confirmations, stocks and customer history became easier and faster.
  • Every data became traceable and interpretable from a single point in the Salesforce pool.
  • Samples were added to the opportunity step and included in the sales cycle.
